:D It's actually kind of flattering to know that my idea of the three-headed ghost logo liked well enough to be used in discussions of a third film. I'm especially glad it was preferred to the other logos which just add an extra finger to the Ghostbusters 2 logo. I'm not hatin' I just never the GB2 logo that much to start with.

Update 2:
Cast list on poster changed to reflect the fact that this movie might actually be getting made with the whole cast! :thumbsup: Notwithstanding Bill Murray's continued fence sitting... :roll:

Update 3:
Wow everybody hates Ben Stiller... When I originally made this poster I featured only the cast names "Dan Aykroyd - Ben Stiller - Erine Hudson" and bunch of other random actor's names in the bottom text for filler. The reaction? People started posting this across the web, thought it was real, and expletives were generously expressed at Ben Stiller's name being anywhere near a no-ghost logo.

So why did I originally choose that roster? Well Dan is obvious. Can't do Ghostbusters without it's creator in tow. I put Ernie Hudson front and center just because the poor guy got shoved to the background for the last two films. But Ben Stiller? In Ghostbusters? Guess what... It was actually true! Well, over a decade ago that is. Ben Stiller, Chris Farley and Chris Rock were who Aykroyd & Ramis wanted to be the new Ghostbusters. I'm not making this up. I originally made this poster WAY before any hopes resurfaced GB3 might ever actually happen again and tossed his name in as a fun reference to that old attempt to make the third film. Once things looked decent that another attempt would be made with the full original (though geriatric) cast, I remade the poster to reflect that.

Thanks so much! I was trying thik of a way to get the "3" idea across without simply resorting the ghost holding up three fingers like a cone to the second logo. In my mind, the logo would be used in all the advertising materials but the Ghostbusters should wear patches on their uniforms that look like the ones from the first film.

Thanks for the heads up! You know, if people would just ask to use the poster art I would totally say yes. It is the internet after all; it's not like I don't want to share it. The courtesy is all I'm after :roll:
Especially since I'd like to change the cast roster on the poster to reflect the actual full cast that may be the possible 3rd movie.

Oh! I did update it. My how time flies. Yeah I wish they'd use that one instead. Bill Murray's name on the poster is way cooler than Ben Stiller's. They must have found the old one that's still circulating out there on the interwebs.

This looks very cool. I made a logo for what I think the Ghostbusters 3 logo will look like. It's not as cool as yours though. Great job. :)
