Artist's Comments

The Aang puppet made for & used in The 2008 New York Comic Con video: [link]

Materials:
- Foam Rubber head & body frame
- Covered by custom dyed Antron fleece "skin"
- Spray painted blue arrow
- Various textile fabrics for the clothes
- Wood staff

Aang was the second puppet finished for the video and nothing brought more aggravation than figuring out how to get his robes to properly billow. In the end though, I found myself to be the most pleased with how he turned out compared to the others.

The season 3 styled staff he's holding was autographed on either end by Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, the creators of the Avatar Show.

You did an amazing job with all of them. I'm just blown away with your skill. One question though, (if you don't mind me asking ^^;) how did you get Aang's eyebrows to be in different positions in the video. They look pretty set in place from the picture but in the video there were clips with the eyebrows placed differently.

Again, wonderful job with everything. I love the video. You are indeed a VERY talented guy :clap:
