Back at the 08 New York Comic Con, Mike DiMartino asked me after seeing the Puppetbenders I had brought with me if I could make him one. I told him if he was coming to the San Diego Con I'd have one for him.
It feels good to have kept a promise. This time out I wasn't alone in crafting the duplicate of Puppet Aang though. I had the skilled assistance of  and  both of whom I am eternally grateful to for helping me get Aang, Katara and (most of  ) Toph done in a few weeks time. Inside the lower half of the puppet in the inseam is a fabric tag that has a mini-dedication, date & names of those worked on it. We sweat to get him done on time but it was also a lot of fun too.It was Saturday and I was dressed as Doctor Who. When I walked up to Mike & Bryan in the autograph line though, they both still recognized me with a "Hey, it's you!"  I guess I'm forever branded as "The Puppet Guy." Not that I mind of course.
